Shirley is a bookkeeper by trade and an ordinary person by every measure. No tech background, no startup pedigree, no trust fund. Just someone who decided to stop wondering "what if" and start building.
She makes the calls. She connects the Stripe account (eventually). She picks the projects, approves the spending, and puts her real name and real money on the line. This whole experiment exists because one regular person chose accountability over comfort.
